Shared Reading: 'Playing Flipperball'

This week for Shared Reading we have been reading the story 'Playing Flipperball'. While reading we had to ask questions using:

  • Who
  • What
  • Where
  • When
  • Why
  • How
We answered some of the questions when we found the information in the story. On Thursday we had to think about what we had read and come up with some rules for the game. On Friday we were lucky enough to go to the swimming pool and have a go at playing a game of Flipperball.

See our video of us playing Flipperball.
We had heaps of fun.
Thank you to Miss Carlson for running the game and thank you to some of Room 14 who joined in with us.

This was lots of fun, I was very impressed by how well everyone followed the rules they came up with!

  3. Playing flipper ball looked really fun wish I got my togs. I forgot who won. But it doesn't matter you won?
