Congratulations to everyone who has been nominated for the MOA Awards. Room Totara have been very lucky to have eight nominations over seven different categories.

Well done to Reece. He received the Principal's Award for Week 4. He has been persevering and working diligently in class.

Well done to Caitlin, Tyrone, Shakshi, Tamzyn and Tristan. They have been persevering in their reading and maths as well as being helpful students in the classroom. Keep demonstrating PRIDE Room 15 Totara.

Term 3

We have started Term Three off with a hiss and a roar. Room Totara has jumped right back into lots of work.

Today we saw the launch of Mana the Lion and all of our PRIDE rewards. Each class received a box of goodies with PRIDE Certificates, Mana Moments, Mana Tick-its, Principals/Deputy Principal's Certificates and our very own Mana.

We have a very large Mana the Lion (80cm tall) which Room 12 were proud to be presented with for the week. They were the best class during Assembly this week. Room 15 hope to receive Mana proudly in the next few weeks by demonstrating PRIDE in Assembly.

Certificates for Week 5

Congratulations to Aila who was awarded the Principal's Award for Week 5. She has been using all PRIDE values in the classroom.

Congratulations to Sequoia, Reece, Troy, Caitlin and Tamzyn who received the PRIDE Certificates for Week 5.

ITM Rugby Cup

Yesterday we were lucky enough to get to see and have a photo with the ITM Cup. The cup came around each classroom and we were able to have a look at it and talk about it. Here are some of the photos taken of us with the cup.

Our Treasures (taonga)

 Last week we looked at treasures that families might have from family members relating to Anzac's and WWI. Students thought about what treasures they have and some even brought them in share with the class. Below are some photos of treasures (or taongas) that are important to us.

PRIDE - Swimming Pool Expectations

Over the last few weeks we have been looking at the rules and expectations while at the swimming pool. We have discussed as a class what we should see while at the pool. Members of the class have been putting posters and videos together to show others what we should do and see.

Certificates Awarded for Week 3

Congratulations to Troy who received our very first Principal's Award for Room 15: Totara. He has been demonstrating PRIDE in the classroom and being a really good role model for the rest of the class.

Well done to Tristan, Caitlin and Anika who received PRIDE Certificates for their respect and perseverance they demonstrated in class.

Also congratulations to Tyrel and ConnorT who received PRIDE Certificates for their diligence in their maths.
