Certificates for Week 8

Congratulations Luke. He received the Principal's Award for Week 8. He has been demonstrating PRIDE in all of this work throughout the year. Keep up the great work Luke.

Karome, Keegan, Milly, Joshua and Manix received the PRIDE Certificates for Week 8. They have been persevering with their writing and sharing more of their ideas during class discussions. Keep working hard everyone.

Kaydee received a PRIDE Certificate this week from Mrs Pather. She has been an extra helpful student for Mrs Pather.

Certificates for Week 4

Mr LeProu was relieving in Room 15 during Week 4. He awarded Kaydee with the Principal's Award for her great focus on her work and also the support that she gave him.


 Mamaeroa, Milly, Ria, Isla and Savannah received PRIDE Certificates for the great support that they gave Mr LeProu while he was relieving in Room 15.

Homework Awards

Happy Hippie Day

On Friday we had a 'Happy Hippie Day' that was organised by our PRIDE Team. Our day was filled with dressing up, balloons, apple bobbing (with water balloons), face paining, photo booths, and much more.  
Thank you very much to the PRIDE Team who created an awesome fun filled day - it was indeed a HAPPY HIPPIE DAY.

This term students have been learning the māori names for different classroom objects. They have been matching written words and visual images with their english equivalent. To help learn these different objects students have created posters to put up around the classroom.

Certificates for Week 5

Savannah received the Principal's Award for Week 5. She always demonstrates PRIDE in the class. She has been working diligently on her movie as well as helping others with their movies.

Filming has begun!!!

For the last four weeks we have been:
- reading twisted fairy tales
- reading plays in School Journals
- writing twisted fairy tales
- writing and drawing storyboards
- writing scripts.

We are now onto the stage of filming our movies. We have three screens (green/white/black) set up around the classroom. We are using a Green Screen App to help set our backgrounds and are setting our actors/actresses to work and perform their different roles.


We can't wait for you see the final product.

Week 4 Certificates

The recipient of the Principal's Award for Week 4 was Jordan. He has been working diligently in class and when he works in Room 10. Keep working diligently Jordan.


Mr McKeller has been working in our class for two days. He awarded Savannah and Kaydee with PRIDE Certificates.
