As a part of our Reading programme we have been reading poems about Anzac Day. Levi, Luke and Sienna have used PicCollage to present one of the poems.

Our Treasures (taonga)

 Last week we looked at treasures that families might have from family members relating to Anzac's and WWI. Students thought about what treasures they have and some even brought them in share with the class. Below are some photos of treasures (or taongas) that are important to us.

Certificates for Week 1, Term 2

Congratulations to Joel who received the first Principal's Award for the term. He has persevered with his writing and worked diligently to get a story started, written and published. Keep persevering Joel.

Congratulations to our five PRIDE Certificate recipients for Week 1. They are Tristan, Caitlin, Aila, Dante and Caleb.

Homework for Term One

Congratulations to those students who were able to bring in their homework each week for Term One. For their efforts they each received a certificate and some goodies.

Weet-bix Tryathlon

Well done to four members from our class who participated in the Weet-bix Tryathlon yesterday. 

Luke, Levi, Tyrel and Mazzlin had a great time and received medals for their effort. Mazzlin even won an extra prize of a drink bottle, cap, big ball and mini soft ball.
